Where I come from
Five years in tax, at every scale.
I'm the owner of Kimble Accounting. I built the practice around personal attention, clear communication, and helping business owners understand the work we're doing together.
My 5 years in tax cover the whole range: local professionals and owner-run businesses, professional athletes and media personalities, and companies with more than $100 million in revenue. Wherever your business sits on that scale, I've worked there. That range taught me how much the details matter, and how much better everything goes when the client understands what's happening.
Why I'm solo
The experience is the reason.
People sometimes ask why they should choose a solo CPA over a bigger firm. My answer is the experience. You talk to me every time, and I know your file.
I limit how many clients I take on so each one gets real time and attention. Because I'm building the practice, I have that time to give, and I'd rather give it than grow past the point where I can.
How I work
Details, communication, and straight answers.
I'm a perfectionist about the details. If I don't know the answer to something, I'll find it. I'd rather tell you I'm checking than guess.
Good communication is most of the job: clear instructions on what I need, straight answers to your questions, and updates along the way. The goal is that tax season feels a lot less stressful.
